The City of Farmington Police Department is seeking motivated, community-minded individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Police Patrolman. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a meaningful career in public service, protecting and serving our community with integrity and professionalism.
Position: Police Patrolman (Entry-Level)
Location: Farmington, AR
Salary: $54,251.07/annual; Position and salary increase based on experience and/or education.
Schedule: Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities: Protect life, property, and public safety, enforce local and state laws, respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, patrol assigned areas on foot and/or by vehicle, prepare reports and documentation, engage positively with community members
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (college coursework a plus), must be minimum of 21 years of age, valid driver’s license, ability to pass background investigation, medical exam, and psychological evaluation, strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
