A completed employment application is required for open positions. Resumes may be attached, however they cannot be accepted in place of an employment application.

The City of Farmington and the Farmington Fire Department are seeking applicants for the position of Probationary Firefighter. Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Pass a background investigation and physical examination
- Be free of felony convictions and disqualifying misdemeanor offenses
- Successfully complete an interview process with the Fire Chief and/or representatives
